Save the Date part II
As in, two more perspective dates for the float trip. It turn out there may be some problems with the first suggested date for the float trip. Jamie wants to propose the following two dates in July:
- July 19th,
- or July 26th
It might help to compare to your own schedule by importing the family calendar on Google that we made. Are you available either weekend? Jamie said “I need some feed back from EVERYONE!!! Please let me know.” We’ll keep you updated here.
Another Way to Save the Date
Sometimes it can be difficult to coordinate dates between us, and long e-mail lists of replies pile up abotu who can do what and when (if at all). For example, recently everyone seems to have plans on two proposed dates for Mary Ann’s dance party (SHHHH!).
So instead of making a long list of replies, I created a public group calendar for the family on Google. We could make it a page of it’s own when we make the group site. Better yet, you can integrate other people’s calendars into your own to figure out when you both have gaps in your schedule. If that sounds confusing, it really isn’t – try it for yourself.
Save the Date?
The first proposed date for the Float Trip this year, according to current Master Tonka Owner Jamie Kluesner:
Saturday June 28th – Sunday June 29th, 2008.
Of course you’ll want to arrive to camp the first Friday night before we float. Does anyone think we should make a Google calendar of family events, like this one which could be added as a page on the site? Feel free to leave a comment about what date works best for you, or what river you think we should float on.
